Departure every Saturday with your chosen means of transport. Please find the Departure Information overleaf.
Arrive from Mumbai / Pune at Hubli. After fresh up and breakfast at hotel Swati we will proceed to our very own Green World Resort. The afternoon would be at Leisure, after which we will spend the evening enjoying the sunset at the Dharma Jalashay, where the Backwaters of the Dam and the birds flying in formations make a beautiful scenery. ( Resort to Jalashay – 16 km)
After breakfast proceed to Mundgod, to visit our country’s biggest Tibetan Monastery. The evening visit to Marikamba Temple and shopping at Sirsi market
After breakfast proceed to the greenest waterfall in this region. Shivganga waterfalls are located in a thick forest. Lunch will be served in the resort. The evening is free at leisure. (resort to waterfall – 55 km) (Only possible between 15th Sept – 15th June)
Today we will visit the Rock Utsav. Here the idea of a typical village life in Karnataka is portrayed through rock formations and artistically carved statues. Spread over a land of 40 acres, this is also the proposed sight for India’s first ‘Folk University’.(65kms)
The backwaters of Karnataka will charm you again today. After breakfast, we will drive to the Kumta – Honavar coastal region of Karnataka. Our first stop will be the ‘ Mirjan Fort’ and later the ‘ Asankonda viewpoint’ from where the view of the Arabian Sea is breathtaking. After lunch, we shall enjoy boating in the Sharavati Backwaters, during which we can spot the various species of birds along the Mavinkurve Island. Later on, after viewing the sunset at Asankonda beach , we will proceed back to the resort. (102kms)
After lunch proceed to see Sahasralinga (Thousand shivlinga carved in river bed), Ghanta Ganapati, Kavdikere Lake in the town of Yellapur. Enjoy the beautiful sunset at Jenkalgudda which over looks the Sahyadri Ranges. Proceed back to resort. (75 km)
Wake up at leisure to the sound of birds. After lunch, we will depart to Hubli and further to Mumbai / Pune . ( Resort to Hubli- 80 km)
