The apple orchards get their water from the gushing rivers and yet away from them lies a cold desert-like landscape that defines the Spiti Valley. With monasteries set on the edge of a cliff to journeys that constantly change their views at every turn Spiti makes you want to stop and take pictures until you can take no more. Then what is left is just you and the raw nature that needs to be taken in with your eyes and felt in your breath.
