We will arrive in Casablanca by Etihad Airlines and further proceed to Tangier. Overnight stay in Tangier.
After breakfast, we drive to Chefchaouen, a blue town on the hills of RIF Mountains and then post lunch drive to Meknes and visit, the stables and Graniers, visit the tomb of Moulay Ismail the builder of this beautiful city and later visit the vibrant square of Meknes, the door Bab Mansour is worth a click. After this whole loaded active day, drive to Ifrane, which is called the Switzerland of Morocco, a peaceful calm night on the hill.
After breakfast, we drive to the spiritual capital of Morocco FES; we will visit the oldest and biggest medina of FES. Watch the seven magnificent gates of the king palace and walk by the Jews quarter next to the palace, drive on the hills to check the panoramic view of the medina. Today lunch will be traditional Fes lunch inside a rustic restaurant inside the medina. Overnight in Ifrane
Departure to Erfoud via the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas Mountains, The scenery will change to green pastures and mountain slopes and later as we head toMerzouga the South Eastern Sahara will make its appearance. Stop in Midelt for lunch. Continuation to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley dotted with palm trees, which are the source for the yearly date Festival in Erfoud. In Erfound, we will change to a 4×4 car to hit the desert road to arrive in Merzouga. Overnight in Merzouga
Early morning enjoy the sunrise over the sands-dunes of Merzouga and to see the color change on the dunes as the sun comes up. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Visit of the magnificent Todgha canyons where the rocks reach an altitude of 250 meters. Lunch at a restaurant near the Gorge. Continuation to Ouarzazate via the road of the thousand Kasbahs and the Dades valley famous for its roses and the yearly Moussem (rose Festival). Overnight in Ouarzazate
Visit of the kasbah of Taourirt and drive then to Ait Benhaddou, the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco, which has served as decor for many films like “Gladiator & Lawrence of Arabia”. Lunch at the terrace of the restaurant facing the kasbah. Departures to Marrakesh via the Tichka pass offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas mountain chain. Check in the Hotel in Marrakesh and after dinner enjoy free time enjoying the lively square of Marrakesh. Overnight in Marrakesh.
The entire day will be devoted to the visit of Marrakesh, the second oldest Imperial city, known as the pearl of the South. The city was founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century. The historical sightseeing includes the Saadian tombs, the Bahia palace, the Koutoubia and the Dar Si Saïd museum. Afternoon, visit of the souks and handicraft quarters displaying a variety of items and the famous place Djemâa El Fna square where the open air food market is the highlight. Overnight in Marrakesh.
After breakfast, we will depart from Marrakesh to visit the beautiful beach town and a famous port of Essaouira, formerly known by its old Portuguese name “Mogador”, Essaouira is a citadel with a prestigious past. A cradle for artists of all kinds, Essaouira is also well known for its fishing port and market. After lunch you will enjoy the evening by yourself in this beautiful beach town. Overnight in Essaouira.
Departure to Casablanca. We drive by the beautiful coast of Atlantic Ocean passing by Safi, lunch in Oualidia, drive to El Jadida and visit the old Portuguese quarter. Arrive the city of Casablanca, the commercial capital of Morocco. Overnight in Casablanca
Departure Transfer to the airport of Casablanca, assistance from our staff with check-in and departure formalities. We will take our flight to Mumbai via Abu Dhabi.
