Since 2010 we promote South America through its natural wonders. Machu Picchu, Iguassu Waterfalls and Rio are places that people know and we give them all the justice that they deserve. However, our expertise lies in taking you to some of the lesser known places and more importantly the local experiences we impart to them.

In Peru, our local office 'Anubhav Peru' manages your local experiences. Our knowledge of the land and our team of guides and co-workers will make sure that this trip stay with you.

  • Welcome to our home, Peru

On arriving in Lima, Peru, your tour manager will receive you at the airport and drive with you to the hotel in the central district of Lima. In the evening you will be briefed with the itinerary for the next 8 days.

  • Lima | It is more than what the eye meets!

The day is all about exploring Lima. The idea is to have a guided trip of the city but engaging yourself in local experiences. You will visit the known sights where the entrances are included, like the Larco Mar Museum and you will walk through some of the places where the locals meet. Coming back to the Hotel for a short time to get ready for the evening would be a refreshing idea. We would be happy to spend the evening with you, however if you would like some ‘Lima time’ on your own, we would be happy to suggest some local bars and dining places known to give Lima its ‘Food capital of South America’ honour.

  • Arrive at the Jungle

On arriving at the Puerto Maldonado airport, our guides will escort you to the forest lodge, that is perfectly located on the banks of Madre de Dios a tributary of the Amazon river. The next two days you would be taken care by the staff of the forest lodge, who will keep you enthralled with activities.

  • The mighty Amazon

Depending on your physical capacity various forest lodge excursions will be offered to you. These excursions will give you glimpses of the mighty Amazon jungle.

  • Puerto Maldonado | Cusco | Sacred Valley

After flying from Puerto Maldonado to Cusco @ 11500 feet above sea level, you will straight away head descend to the valley where the river Urubamba flows. The Ancient Incas called it the Sacred Valley and as you drive to your hotel parallel to this tributary of the Amazon, you will understand why. Your hotel is beautifully located in the valley and our local guide would be happy to run you further through the highlights before your dinner.

  • Sacred Valley | MachuPichu | Sacred Valley (Road – Train – Road, whole day)

After an early breakfast we will drive you to the Ollantaytambo train station where a scenic train journey (2 hours) will take you to the base of Machu Pichu, The Aquas Calientes train station. A short ascent by bus from here, and you would be the gates of Machu Pichu! Our guide would make the next few hours exciting by sharing the history and stories of this breath taking sight. You would head back to your Hotel in the Sacred Valley after lunch.

  • Sacred Valley | Local Experiences | Cuzco

Today, we will try to do something not so touristy. Exploring a weaving village, understanding and taking part in the local’s daily chores and visiting an archaeological site will be done today. Post this, you will head towards Cusco and arrive at the hotel in the evening. Cuzco is ancient but you will be surprised by the modern twist is has when the night comes alive.

  • Cuzco | The Ancient but with a modern flavour

A day at leisure in Cuzco is best enjoyed half and half. Your guide will take you for a half day tour around the town and the other half of the day we would let you have your own time with this beautiful town. Our local guide would be happy to recommend a few things to do in the evening.

  • Cuzco | Lima (by flight) | Paracas (Drive)

You will board a morning flight from Cusco to Lima and then hit the coastal highway. The road gets interesting as you will cross the contrasting landscapes of the dry coastal desert and the rich deltas of the Andean rivers flowing into the Pacific. This is the fruit and vegetable belt of Peru. As you reach the hotel in the evening, it would just be in time for the sunset.

  • Paracas | Lima Airport

After a leisurely breakfast get on to the speed boat and head towards the Ballestas islands. The Ballestas Islands Reserve is known for its rich marine wildlife. Sighting of the penguins, sea lions is common. Later, you will head back to Lima airport to that will mark the end of your Peruvian journey. Also, we will assist you with the check in formalities before you head to your next country.

  • Lima | Foz do Iguazu (4 hours by Air)

Post breakfast you will board the flight to Foz do Iguazu. On arrival we will proceed to check into our hotel in the town of Foz Do Iguazu in Brazil. Your guide will brief you on the next day where dressing for the day will be important.

  • The Falls from the Argentinian side

We will cross the border into the Argentinian side of the falls. The most exciting part of the day will come when you get onto a speed boat and go under the falls to get soaking wet. Before this happens however there are different walks to be enjoyed in the Argentinian side. At the end of the day you will drive back to Foz in Brazil.

  • The Brazilian Side of the Falls – Fly to Rio

The Iguassu falls are one of the new seven natural wonders of the world. The view from the Brazilian side is different than that which we witness from Argentina. On the Brazilian side there is a long walk- way along the canyon with an extension to the lower base of the Devils Throat, which today would be actually visible as you would be facing it. After lunch you will head to the airport to board a flight to Rio de Janeiro. The evening is free to enjoy a walk on the famous Copa Cabana beach.

  • Rio | Back Home

In the morning post breakfast, you will visit the Sugarloaf Mountain by taking a cable car to the top of it. In the evening visit the Corcovado, from where it is possible to admire the most famous icon of the city, a white Christ or which is also known as the Christ De Redeemer.
