  • Pantnagar Airport - Fern Hillside Resort

Arrive at Pantnagar and drive two hours through dense forest to Fern Hillside Resort, the
kind of drive where you forget your phone exists because the windows are too good. En-route we enjoy Lunch and proceed to Resort. Check in and Relax at Fern Hillside Resort. The mountains will start unfolding tomorrow in their real glory. Dinner and Overnight at Fern Hillside Resort.

  • Fern Hillside Resort - Bhimtal - Joys at Natadol

After Breakfast, we proceed to Joys at Natadol four-hour drive to our upcoming stay for the next two days. This area hosts over 600 bird species, making it one of Asia's richest avian zones. However, our first stop is the beautiful ‘Retreat at Bhimtal’, a 150-year-old estate on the top of the lake. Enjoy lunch cooked by the owner, Padmini, over conversations about her family and the building, which is the essence of Anubhav. Later, drive to check in, evening stroll when birds come out, Himalayan Griffons, Lammergeiers, species with wingspans that make you look up mid-sentence. Explore the flora (4,000+ plant species, many still unnamed), then dinner and stargazing. Kumaon has some of India's darkest skies, which is why astronomers set up shop here. No light pollution. Just you and more stars than your city's been hiding. Overnight at Joys at Natadol.

  • Joys at Natadol - Mukteshwar - Joys at Natadol

After a breakfast that delivers the scent before the actual flavours. Depart to Mukteshwar (1 hour 20 minutes), a hill station at 7,500 feet, a lovely day trip drive from Natadol. Visit Mukteshwar Dham Temple, 350 years old, perched where Kumaoni kings believed Shiva meditated for moksha. Then Chauli ki Jali (10 minutes away), a natural rock hole where the folklore states that childless women would squeeze through the narrow slit in the rock, believing it would bless them with fertility. a spring-fed cascade that's been flowing since before anyone thought to name it. Return to Joys at Natadol, the evening jungle trail where langurs outnumber humans and remind you who actually lives here. Overnight at Joys at Natadol.

  • Joys at Natadol - Magnolia Lodge, Almora

Leave early for Almora, once the capital of the Chand dynasty and a town Swami
Vivekananda called "a place where nature and man are in communion" (he wasn't
exaggerating). Check into Magnolia Lodge (2 hours), rest, then hit Almora market,
handwoven Pashmina, Kumaoni Aipan art (geometric patterns older than Rangoli), and Bal Mithai, a sweet so specific to Almora that every attempt to replicate it elsewhere has failed for 200 years. Later, drive to Katarmal Sun Temple (1 hour), built in the 9th century, 400 years before Konark, making it India's second-oldest sun temple. Faces east to catch the first light, with 45 smaller shrines around it. Temple timings: 6 AM to 7 PM landslides sometimes close roads). Return to Magnolia Lodge. Overnight in Almora.

  • Magnolia Lodge- Kasar Devi - Magnolia Lodge

Head to Kasar Devi Temple, where things get interesting. In the 1960s, NASA detected a geomagnetic field here similar to Machu Picchu and Stonehenge. Bob Dylan showed up in 1962. Cat Stevens followed. George Harrison meditated here. Swami Vivekananda spent weeks in a nearby cave. The temple dates to the 2nd century CE, one of 51 Shakti Peethas where legend says parts of Sati fell during Shiva's cosmic dance. Science or spirituality, whatever pulls you here, you'll feel it. Then stroll through old Almora lanes, cantonment-era streets built by the British in 1815 when they realized these mountains were strategically critical. The lanes remember colonial trade, Kumaoni resistance, and pilgrims passing through for centuries. Lunch, return to the property, rest, then evening bonfire where conversations go deeper than they do at sea level. Overnight at Magnolia Lodge, overlooking a 1000 glowing houses of the town unfolding in the night.

  • Magnolia Lodge - Saraca resort & Spa Jim Corbett

Arrive at Saraca Resort & Spa, set on the edge of the legendary Corbett Tiger Reserve. Experience the seamless blend of luxury and wilderness, surrounded by the calls of over 550 bird species and views that stretch to the Himalayan foothills. Spend your day exploring thrilling jungle trails, observing wildlife in their natural habitat. Evenings bring calm serenity as you unwind amidst the soothing sounds of the forest and the Himalayan foothills paint the perfect evening backdrop.

  • Saraca resort & Spa Jim Corbett - Jim Corbett Safari

After breakfast, head to Corbett for your first safari. Here's what most don't know: Corbett has plant species, birds, and mammals, but tigers steal the show. Two safaris, two zones (Dhikala, Bijrani, or Jhirna). Lunch, rest, then second safari. Corbett was India's first Project Tiger reserve in 1973, credited with saving the species when numbers dropped nationwide. Today, Corbett alone hosts 260+ tigers. But even if you don't see one, you'll see evidence, pug marks, claw scratches, a forest that breathes differently when apex predators are near. And if you do see one? Those few seconds will outlast every photo you didn't take.Overnight at Saraca resort & spa Jim Corbett.

  • Saraca resort & Spa Jim Corbett - Pantnagar Airport

Breakfast and pack up, drive to Pantnagar. You'll leave with Kumaoni shawls, Aipan art, Bal Mithai, and the realization that Kumaon isn't loud about what it offers. Some places don't need to shout. They just change you.
