Every year for a month from the mid of May the cherries are ready to be plucked from the orchards of Thanedar and Kotgarh in Upper Shimla. The fruit heaven of Himachal is a buzz of activity from this month onwards till the apples are plucked and sorted by the end of October. Our tour is an ode to the fruits of this region and the culture of the land. We stay in 90 year old Seetalvan Orchard run by Meenakshi Aunty, for four nights but hop in orchards of the neighboring villages listening to stories of the fruiting season.

Booking Procedure

Step 1 : Advance payment - 

(a) Rs.21,000/- + 5% GST per person

(b) Rs.31,500/- + 5% GST per person if Railway tickets are booked by Anubhav

(c) Rs.42,000/- + 5% GST per person if Air tickets are booked by Anubhav

(Additional 5% GST applicable if tickets are issued by Anubhav)

 

Step 2 : Balance payment - one month prior to the departure date

Cancellation Policies

45 days or more before departure, NIL cancellation charges
44 - 30 days before departure, 25% of the tour cost + rail/airfare cancellation as per actuals + 5% GST
29 - 15 days before departure, 50% of the tour cost + rail/airfare cancellation as per actuals + 5% GST
14 - 06 days before departure, 75% of the tour cost + rail/airfare cancellation as per actuals + 5% GST
05 days or less before departure, 100% of the tour cost + rail/airfare cancellation as per actuals + 5% GST

  • Arrive at Chandigarh - 42 Anchorage

    Arrival at Chandigarh airport and proceed to the homestay. Evening at Sukhna Lake.
    Dinner and overnight at Homestay.

  • Chandigarh - Seetalvan Orchards

    Pick up from Chandigarh at 08:30 AM and begin the drive toward Upper Shimla. Arrive at Seetalvan Orchards by early evening. Check in and settle into the property, easing into the orchard and its surroundings. Evening at leisure by the fire. Dinner and overnight stay at Seetalvan.

  • Seetalvan Orchards - Saroga Woods - Seetalvan orchards

    Begin the day early with the riyaaz of ‘Sa’ in the dining space, accompanied by teas brewed at the orchard. Move outdoors for a short yoga session facing the rising sun, followed by breakfast at the property. The morning continues with your painting session, interpreting the old pahadi home within the orchard. After lunch and some time at rest, step out in the early evening toward Saroga Woods for a forest walk and high tea experience at 9,500 ft. Return to Seetalvan by night. Dinner and overnight stay.

  • Seetalvan - Tani Jubbar - Grandma Stokes - Seetalvan

    Begin with morning meditation and yoga. Post breakfast, drive toward Tani Jubbar, where the landscape opens into a natural clearing. Spend time here with your second painting session, followed by a short walk to a mountain café. Later we will visit Grandma Stokes, the house once belonged to Satyanand Stokes, the man who first introduced apple cultivation to this part of Himachal. We will have Lunch at Grandma stokes with cherry picking activity later. Return to Seetalvan by Evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

  • Seetalvan - Hatu Peak - Narkanda - Seetalvan

    This will be a relaxed day, as we will ascend to the tallest peak in the Shimla District at 11000 feet,The Hatu Peak, where the Mata Temple is located. Enjoy lunch at a Homestay overlooking the mountains. Return to Seetalvan and some time at rest. In the evening visit St. Mary’s Church in Kotgarh, Shimla, a historic, yellow-painted wooden church established in 1872 by the Church Missionary Society.

  • Seetalvan - Chandigarh

    Early morning check-out. Drive back to Chandigarh with drop-offs at the Airport.
