Arrive in Auckland, called the city of sails. Evening explore the view of this charming city from the Sky Tower.
In the morning, enjoy a tour of this coastal city, which includes a view of the Harbour Bridge, America’s Cup Viaduct and later we will drive to Waitomo to experience the beautiful glowworm caves. In the evening, arrive to our hotel in Rotorua, the thermal capital of New Zealand, where the scent of Sulphur is evident in the air.
Today we will explore this city know as the thermal capital. We will visit the Agrodome to for a one-hour performance seeing nineteen sheep breeds introduced onto the stage, the art of sheep shearing, sheepdog demonstrations. We will also visit Te Puia Geothermal Reserve to view the boiling mud pools and cascading Pohutu geyser and see local Maori carvers in action.
Today get ready for a road journey through the length of the North Island. The highlight of this trip would be a stop at the largest freshwater lake in the country, Lake Taupo, the resort town of Taupo sits on the edge of New Zealand's largest lake, which is well stocked with sizeable trout. You’ll follow the eastern edge of Lake Taupo to reach Turangi and later scenic drive through the Desert Road a journey that is long and straight, with amazing views of Tongariro National Park's volcanoes. By evening we will arrive at the Capital of Wellington.
In the morning we will transferred to Wellington Ferry Terminal to board ferry from Wellington to Picton through the Cooks Strait, onward we will take the scenic coastal train to Christchurch, with the sea stretching to the horizon in the east and the Kaikoura mountains stretching to the sky in the west, the Coastal Pacific journey between Picton and Christchurch is one of the most astonishingly beautiful in New Zealand.
Today we will visit the International Antarctic Centre where we discover life down on the Ice provided by the New Zealand Antarctic Program. Enjoy “The Snow & Ice Experience”, in a custom-built polar room; later we will drive to the scenic Lake Tekapo where the small pretty church of Good Shepard is located.
In the morning, we will drive to follow the edge of Lake Pukaki through the MacKenzie basin over the Lindis Pass and stop on the way to Lake Wanaka, later proceed to Lake Wakatipu and the "Alpine Resort" of Queenstown.
After a leisurely breakfast, we will start with our action-packed day with first taking the Gondola up Queenstown Hill. The views of the surrounding are breathtaking from here. Later we will enjoy a thrilling jet boat experience. Evening at leisure by the Wakatipu Lake.
After an early breakfast, we will drive to the Fjordland region of South Island. The region is one of the wettest in the country and we advise you to carry your rainwear. We will embark on an unforgettable journey on the Milford Sound. We will cruise to the mouth of the sound that is rich with plant and marine animal life. The waterfalls cascade by the cliffs and make our cruising more pleasurable.
The highlight of today is the drive itself. The South Catlin coast is the most remote in South Island and a welcome break after the busy Queenstown. On our way to the east coast city of Dunedin, we will make a number of stops en-route. Some of the stops will definitely be for spotting wildlife such as seals. The windswept Catlin’s coast is not where many tourists come and you will be one with Mother Nature here. Arrive in Dunedin and check in.
We will take a short tour of this University town of New Zealand and visit the Larnach Castle and later enjoy a scenic drive to Christchurch.
Departure & transfer to Christchurch Airport. We will take our flight to Mumbai.
