Norway Fjords and Arctics

• Arrive in Oslo – Alesund

  After clearing immigration in Oslo, we will proceed to the domestic terminal in Oslo (same building) to board a flight to the central coastal town of Ålesund.

• Alesund - Loen

  Today's road journey will first take us to Innvik Fjord and then cross over to Anda on a ferry. We will visit the Norwegian Fjord Horse Centre in Nordfjordeid, which is famous for its horse breed, the Fjord Horse. Check-in to the hotel in Loen in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Loen

  We will visit a horse farm and then continue to Oldedalen. Here we will take a Troll Car to the mouth of the Briksdalen Glacier, the longest glacier in Europe. We will have a chance to see the blue façade of the glacier as we see it towering upwards. The most scenic Fjord in Norway, the Geiranger Fjord is a UNESCO world heritage site. Our day will start with the Fjord Cruise on the Geiranger passing several abandoned farms on the way. The prime attractions, however, are the 'Seven Sisters' and 'Bridal Veil' waterfalls. The fjord has steep mountain walls on both sides and that’s the reason it is so dramatic. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leon.
  

• Loen - Andalsnes

  Today take the most scenic Golden Route drive will take you up the winding roads of Troll’s path with its hair pin bends. You will make severalstops on the way to take the pictures ofthe surrounding breath taking scenery. In the evening you will arrive at your hotel near the village of Andalsnes on the Romsdalfjord.

• Andalsnes - Bodo

  After breakfast, we will commence our journey by boarding the Rauma Railway, one of Norway’s wildest and most beautiful train journeys, which will take you to Dombas. Here, board the Dovre Railway to cross the Dovrejfell mountain range, up to Trondheim. Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Bodo. Check-in at the hotel in the city centre in Bodo for dinner and an overnight stay.
  

• Bodo to Henningsvaer

  From Bodø, we will take a ferry to reach the village of Moskenes, the southern end of the most scenic Lofoten Islands. We will reach Moskenes and then visit the tip of the Lofoten Islands. We will take in the scenic E 10 highway stopping at tiny villages for pictures and soaking in the surrounding. Dinner will be arranged in the hotel and later we will go to the open sea to catch the midnight sun. Overnight in Svolvær, a fishing village on the Island.

• Henningsvaer

  We would wake up late and have a leisurely breakfast. In the morning, we will first visit the village of Hennigsvaer where the houses are beautifully located on the bay. Later we will head out to the narrow Trollfjord on a Sea Eagle Safari on a local boat where we would also have a chance to do some fishing. On our return to the hotel, we will have an evening at leisure.

• Henningsvaer - Senja

  We will continue this morning on the E 10 before branching out to the island of Andoya and on it the port town of Andenes. From Andenes, we will take the ferry on first the open sea and then through the Gryllefjord to reach the Island of Senja. The Island, a cousin of the Lofoten Islands, gives it tough competition in terms of the scenery. However, the smaller number of people coming here means greater peace, and this is where it is different. The stay tonight is adjacent to the North Sea in fishing cabins. We will have yet another chance to see the midnight sun tonight.

• Senja - Tromso - Oslo

  After breakfast, we will take our last ferry of the tour to the Island of Tromsø. Once in Tromsø, we will be proceeding to the Tromso Airport to catch the flight for Oslo. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Oslo.

• Oslo - Mumbai

  Transfer to the Oslo airport for your flight to Mumbai with wonderful memories.

• Why spend all the 9 days in Norway?

  Norway is the star of Scandinavia. Also, in Norway, the scenery in the Fjordland and the Arctics will steal your breath away.
  
  

• Should I do Scandinavia or Norway?

  The Norway tour is for people who do not want to indulge in city sightseeing tours and just want to be with nature. If you want to experience the best of both Cities and Nature then Scandinavia Summer would be a better option.
  
  

• What about food on tour?

  Norway is far up north and so the choice of veggies is limited, however, we take care that the vegetarians do not sleep hungry. There is a lot of fish on offer, especially Salmon.
  
  

• Why is it expensive?

  The more time one spends above the Arctics in Norway, the costlier the tour gets. As we spend 5 nights above the Arctic Circle out of the 8 nights on the tour our tour spends time in the most beautiful place in Europe but there is a price to pay for this experience.

- Passport Validity: 03 or more months valid after the scheduled return

2. PHOTOGRAPH
- 3 recent photographs, size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, new clicked, white background, matt finish, 80% of the face of the area should be covered, ears visible, without specs

3. ORIGINAL BANK STATEMENT
- From the last 3 months to till current date of the passbook all filed pages are Xerox copies with the first page of the passbook.
- Original Bank stamp & signature are compulsory on each page.
- The closing Balance should be a minimum of INR 2,50,000/- Per Person.
- On A4 size Paper.

4. FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS
- Personal - 3 Years ITR Paper/Form 16. – (23-24, 22-23, 21-22)

5. EMPLOYMENT DOCUMENTS

a) If you are employed:
- Pay slips for the last three months,
- Employment Contract, 
- Employers’ Statement on approval for holidays (NOC - Leave Sanction letter from applicant’s company).

b) If you are a company owner or self-employed:
- Certificate of registration of the company,
- GST Registration, 
- Indian income tax return (ITR) acknowledgment for the last Three assessment years OR Form 16,
- Applicant’s company bank statements for the last 3 months stamped by the bank. 

c) If you are retired:
- Pension statements for the last three months,
- Proof of regular income generated by ownership of property or business and Applicant’s bank statements for the last 3 months stamped by the bank.

 d) If you are unemployed:
- Applicant’s bank statements for the last 3 months stamped by the bank.

EXTRA DOCUMENTS:

1. If the applicant is Divorced needs a Divorce paper copy.

2. If the applicant Widow/Widower, then the spouse’s death certificate copy.

3. If a person traveling alone sponsor documents are required – If the sponsor is a son/daughter: Financial Documents, working salary slips, Sponsorship Letter & sponsor passport copy.

4. If the Spouse's name is not added to the passport, a Marriage Certificate is required.

5. Additional documents for applications of minor applicants:

- The application form and both declarations under 1)-3) have to be signed by both parents
- Birth certificate
- A passport copy (biometric and address page) of the applicant’s mother having custody/guardianship of the applicant.
- A Passport copy (biometric and address page) of the applicant’s father having custody/guardianship of the applicant.
- If one or both parents are not submitting the visa application with the child: a copy of the visa of that parent
- If only one parent submits the application: Proof of single custody of that parent either by submittal of the court ruling or submittal of the death certificate of the deceased parent Or 
- (if both parents have shared custody) submittal of written and signed authorization letter of the parent non-present with passport copy (biometric and address page) – both certified by a public notary
 - If the minor travels alone (without parents), written consent, certified by a public notary, of both parents or guardians having custody or guardianship of the minor;

BIOMETRIC: 

Were the fingerprints of the applicant collected in the last 59 months for applying for a Schengen visa in India? If yes, please mention the month and year of collection:
Please note that fingerprints should be taken if the applicant submits his application in person even if the last submittal was within the last 59 months.

VISA PROCESSING TIME: Minimum 15 Working Days (Saturday, Sunday & National Holidays – EMBASSY/CONSULATE/VFS CLOSED)

IMPORTANT: The Embassy reserves the right to request additional information/documentation and, if deemed necessary, to interview the applicant. Applicants applying for a Schengen visa will need to provide biometric data (fingerprints) when submitting an application.

VISA NOTE : 
Our management team will do its best to ensure you acquire your visa in time. Still, we hold no responsibility if your visa application gets rejected or is kept on hold till departure, resulting in the cancellation of your tour due to any unforeseen circumstances.
In this case:
- The tour cost will be non-refundable and cancellation charges will be applicable
- Additional costs for re-application of visa and consulate visits outside Mumbai will be charged
- Additional costs will be charged for changes in the tour itinerary due to visa issues
