We will arrive in Casablanca and further proceed to the capital of the country - Rabat, to visit the King Palace, the Tombs of the previous Kings of Morocco, and see the unfinished Hassan Tower. Later visit the Kasbah of Oudaya. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, we will travel to reach the blue town of Chefchaouen on the hills of RIF Mountains and visit the narrow alleys of the medina of Chefchaouen. Later drive to Ifrane, which is called the Switzerland of Morocco.
After breakfast, we drive to the spiritual capital of Morocco - Fes. We will visit the oldest and biggest medina of Fes. See the seven magnificent gates of the king's palace and walk by the Jews' quarter next to the palace, and drive on the hills to check the panoramic view of the medina. Today's lunch will be traditional Fes lunch in a rustic restaurant inside the medina. In the evening, check in to your hotel in Ifrane. Overnight in Ifrane.
Today, we'll depart for our next destination via the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas Mountains. The scenery will change to green pastures and mountain slopes and later as we head to Merzouga, the South Eastern Sahara will make its appearance. Stop in between for lunch. Later, continue to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley dotted with palm trees, which are the source for the yearly date festival in Erfoud. In Erfoud, we will change to a 4x4 car to hit the desert road and arrive in Merzouga. Overnight in Merzouga.
Early morning, you can enjoy a camel ride (optional) to see the sunrise over the Dunes of Merzouga and to see the colour change on the sand as the sun comes up. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, visit the magnificent Todgha Gorge where the rocks reach an altitude of 250 meters. Lunch will be at a restaurant near the Gorge. Continue to Ouarzazate via the road of the thousand Kasbahs and the Dades Valley famous for its roses and the yearly Moussem (Rose Festival). Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Once done with your breakfast, visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and then drive to Ait Benhaddou, the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco, which has been a shoot location for many films like 'Gladiator' and 'Lawrence of Arabia'. Lunch at the terrace of the restaurant facing the Kasbah. Departures to Marrakesh via the Tichka Pass offering an impressive landscape view in the heart of the Atlas Mountain chain. Check in to the hotel in Marrakesh and after dinner, enjoy free time enjoying the lively square of Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakesh.
The entire day will be devoted to the visit of Marrakesh, the second oldest Imperial city, known as the pearl of the south. The city was founded by the Almoravid at the end of the 11th century. The historical sightseeing tour includes the Saadian tombs, the Bahia palace, the Koutoubia and the Dar Si Saïd Museum. Afternoon, visit the souks and handicraft quarters displaying a variety of items and the famous place Djemâa El Fna square where the open-air food market is the highlight. Overnight in Marrakesh.
After breakfast, we will depart from Marrakesh to visit the beautiful beach town and famous port of Essaouira, formerly known by its Old Portuguese name 'Mogador'. Essaouira is a citadel with a prestigious past. A cradle for artists of all kinds, Essaouira is also known for its fishing port and market. After lunch, you will have time to enjoy the evening by yourself. Overnight in Essaouira.
Depart for Casablanca. We drive by the beautiful coast of the Atlantic Ocean passing by Safi. We stop at Oualidia for lunch. Proceed to the city of Casablanca, the commercial capital of Morocco. Overnight in Casablanca.
Today, we check out from our hotel and transfer to the airport in Casablanca, from where we will take our flight back home via Abu Dhabi.
