  • Sunday | Arrive in Cairo – Alexandria

    Our departure from Mumbai would be at 0230 hours by Egypt air. We will arrive at 0600 hours and then after the immigration formalities proceed to Alexandria by coach. Snack and coffee would be served on the way. On reaching Alexandria and before check in, a visit to the 2nd biggest library in the world would be an ideal way to start the sightseeing on tour. The Alexandria library is not only a very impressive with its external built but it also makes up for an interesting tour of the interior. Lunch would be in our hotel. In the evening we would visit the Montaza gardens where the last king of Egypt, Farouk built his summer palace. The sunset on the Mediterranean makes up for an interesting end to our first day. A walk on the marine drive in Alexandria is also recommended.

  • Monday | Alexandria – Giza (2.5 hours)

    In the morning we would check out of the hotel and visit the Catacombs and the famous Pompei pillar of Alexandria. Later enroute to Giza we would enjoy lunch on the Alexandria desert road. The pyramids of Giza would be visited leisurely with time given for those who want to enter the pyramid. Later there would be a photo stop at the Sphinx. In the evening we would enjoy the famous sound and light show at the backdrop of the pyramids. Check in and dinner would be in the hotel.

  • Tuesday | Giza – Cairo – Giza (Sleeper Train to Aswan)

    In the morning ,we will cross the Nile to enter Cairo, and visit the Egyptian museum which houses the gold from the tomb of Tutankhamun plus all of Egypts ancient artefacts. After lunch and before driving back to our hotel in Giza we would visit the famous mosque of Mohammed Ali. On arrival back in Giza we will have time for some perfume shopping before boarding the first class sleeper train to Aswan.

  • Wednesday | Aswan – Cruise Check In – Philae Temple (sound and light)

    The train journey is an experience especially waking up to the views of the Nile, the road and the railway parallel to each other. On arrival in Aswan, we will first use facilities in a hotel to freshen up and then we will enjoy a tour of the high dam of Aswan. Check in the cruise for Lunch. After some good rest the highlight of the day would be a sound and light show on the island temple of Philae. The temple looks beautifully lit in the evening. Later in the evening we would have time to visit the Aswan souk (local market).

  • Thursday | Aswan – Abu Simbel (optional) – Cruise Sailing – Kom Ombo Temple

    Those who wish to visit the temple of Abu Simbel will have a 0400 departure. For the people who will spend the morning in Aswan, will have an option to visit a Nubian village (optional), or could just enjoy a walk on the Nile. The cruise will start sailing on the Nile at 1400 hours where from the sun deck you could enjoy the surrounding scenery. In the evening and in the lights we would visit the temple of Kom Ombo. The cruise will dock in Edfu today.

  • Friday | Edfu – Luxor

    Early in the morning, before breakfast we will ride in a horse carriage to the temple of Edfu. We would come back to the crusie for breakfast and further enjoy sailing on the Nile, till the arrival in Luxor. On arrival in Luxor we will have a visit to the famous temple of Karnak. Evening is free in Luxor.

  • Saturday | Luxor – Cairo – Mumbai

    We would check out of the cruise in the morning and visit the Valley of the Kings of the west bank, where the most interesting tombs of the Ramses 2 and 4 are housed. Later will stop at the statues of Memnon and proceed to board the domestic flight to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo we will bid you farewell as you board the flight back to Mumbai at 1650 hours. Arrival in Mumbai is at 0145 hours on Sunday.

2. 3 recent (New Clicked) photographs (not older than three months), Size 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm, white background, Mat finish, (80% of the area should be covered by the face with the ears clearly visible)

3. Completely filled form signed by the applicant.

4. Covering Letter addressed “To, Consulate General of Egypt, Mumbai”                                           

5. Original bank statement from last 6 months to till current date or passbook Xerox copies with first page of passbook and original bank seal compulsory. (Closing Balance should be minimum INR 1,00,000 - 1,50,000/- Per Person)

6. If Employed: Leave letter / No-Objection Certificate on company letterhead & 03 Months Salary Slip or Employment Contract.

7.  3 Years IT Paper/Form 16.

8. If Self Employed: Visiting Card & Business letterhead for covering letter purpose. Company Registration copy / Partnership Deed / Company Memorandum. Company Bank Statement Last 6 Month, 3yrs IT Paper.

9. If Student: College ID copy and No-Objection Certificate / Bonafied Certificate.

10.  If Applicant is retired: Retirement Proof.

11. For out Station Passport: 02 address proofs like Aadhar card, Electricity Bill, MTNL Bill.

12. Applicant if Divorced then need Divorce paper’s copy and if Widow/Widower then spouse’s death certificate copy.

13. Marriage Certificate if Spouse name is not added on passport.

14. If Widow person traveling alone sponsor documents required – If sponsor is son / daughter : Financial Documents, if working salary slips, Sponsorship Letter & sponsor passport copy.
