We mostly visit a place only once in our lifetime. In Scandinavia and in Norway, The Lofoten Islands at 68 deg North Latitude is not just any place. Some call it ‘heaven on earth’, feeling stunned at the natural beauty they experience. The Norwegian Fjords of the south-central will add an icing on the cake. Let Scandinavia engage you and not simply please you !!

Lofoten Islands in Norway are Natures wonder in the Real Sense. Our 200 km road Journey connecting the Islands is the highlight of this Tour. We want you to Experience the sheer Beauty of this Region and amaze at the sighting of the Midnight Sun from here. But even if the sun does decide to hide behind the clouds, Lofoten Islands will travel back with you home.
Since 2009, our belief in the Arctic North (the land of the midnight sun) has got us this far. We believe Scandinavia without crossing the Arctic Circle in summer is not Scandinavia at all. We stay for 6 nights in Norway and in that 3 nights above the Arctic’s in Lofoten and in Bodo. It is very important to feel the real north where scenery excels as in Lofoten and not the touristy North where in Alta you just do a touch and go to the northernmost point in Europe.
We will arrive in Helsinki, the capital of Finland by afternoon. Our hotel is centrally located near the Parliament House and the Kaampi Mall, so an evening on your own is an ideal way to explore this city. Dinner and overnight stay in Helsinki.
In the morning after breakfast, enjoy a Tram Ride which will take you through the various attractions of this beautiful city. it is also a nice way to catch a local going through his daily life. Later visit the very interesting Rock Church carved into bed rock and wonder at the copper roof of this simple yet lovely architectural wonder. Return to Hotel and check out in the noon to start with Coach City tour which includes The Sibelius(composer of the Finnish National Anthem) Monument, and the Cathedral Square. After the tour, we will move to Cruise terminal to board the Cruise- Ferry to Stockholm. Dinner will be an International Buffet enjoyed from the cruise deck.
In the morning as we arrive in Stockholm observe from the ship how the various islands in the Stockholm Archipelago appear. On disembarkation proceed for your sightseeing trip of this beautiful city. Visit the Djurgarden Island to view Skansen, the beautiful Open Air Museum to experience Sweden's Culture. Later we will visit the Vasa Museum where you can view the sheer beauty of Vasa Ship that sank on its maiden voyage. In the afternoon check in and later after some rest we will enjoy a leisurely walk on the Drottninggatan (queen’s street) which is a pedestrian street in the heart of Stockholm.
After breakfast proceed to the airport to board the flight to Kiruna, the northern most town in Sweden. This is the day where we cross the Arctic Circle. A coach will stay with us for the next 3 days for our journey in the Norwegian Arctics. The Journey will take you through the Northern Fjords of Norway and will get more exciting as you enter a world of pure natural charm. In the night enjoy local Norwegian Cuisine. View the Stands on which the Cod Fish are kept for drying in the long winter months. Tonight (weather permitting) we will drive to a view point, from where we might be abe to spot the Mid Night Sun.
Today we will spend a day at leisure. Our morning activity includes a trip on the open boat in the sea to spot the sea eagle. This sea eagle safari is unique as these birds are indigenous to these waters. As we enjoy this Safari we will also try our luck with some Cod Fishing as we enter the narrowest fjord in the North ‘The Trollfjord’. Later we will visit the beautiful fishing community of Henningsvaer, an ideally situated tiny village on the bay. A lot of picture stops can be had on the way as we take the day at ease. Tonight again we will try to see the mid night sun (only if the night earlier had been clouded).
Experience the most picturesque scenery of Norway and maybe the world when you drive on the E 10 highway (Unesco World Heritage Road) from Svolvaer to Moskenes, there would be many picture - perfect fishing villages in between. At Moskenes, Take a Ferry to Bodo. Arrive in Bodoand check in. If we haven’t been able to see the Midnight Sun on both the previous nights, tonight will be our last attempt at it.

The Fjord is the longest and the deepest of all the Norwegian Fjords and this 2 hour sailing promises to be very exciting with a number of waterfalls and scenic villages, lined up on the shores of the Fjord. Flam is a scenic village from where we will take the Flam Railway, the train to Myrdal. Enroute view the beautiful scenery as the train travels uphill including the Voringfoss Waterfall. From Myrdal board the train that will take us to Oslo. On arrival in Oslo at around 2245 hrs we will walk to the hotel which is near the Railway Station. (Lunch is included today, No Dinner)
